I started the in the Auto Body Supply Business in 1972. I was an O/S salesman for Sidles Co., so for 4 years I sold Dupont. 

In January 1976 my wife & I bought Denison Auto Supply. They had PPG-Ditzler Paints. In 1978 we hired Bill Roggge for one of our larger shops. Through continuing education and his experience we have the best tech Representative in the Midwest.

In 1990 we opened a second store located in Atlantic, IA, Big D's Coatings. In 2002 we opened Harlan Auto Parts, located in Harlan Iowa.

2007 found us selling off our auto parts business, so we can now focus on only PB&E and our Industrial Paints.

I started my career as a teenager working for Barry Motor's doing car detailing and working with the buffing and interior cleaning products. I moved up and started working in the body shop alongside two experienced body men who taught me for the next six years. I moved to Denison and worked for Gaughan Motors. In 1978 I went to work for Denison Auto selling paint and body supplies.

I have attended over 40 different PPG Paint Classes from Enamel Paints to Urethane Paints being used today. I work with my customers to pass along the training when using PPG Products.

With over 31 years of selling and using PPG Products I can provide assistance with most projects.

I have 15 years in body shop experience doing everything from clean-up to painting. I have been with Dasco Coatings for over 2 1/2 years.

My position is counter sales and mixing and matching paint. No color is too tough for us! I enjoy helping the certified techs as well as the do it yourselfer.

I am the new crew, working with the guys is great. I am a high school senior and have been interested in auto painting for about 4 years and I am enrolled in auto body which is my career choice.

I make deliveries, mix paint and other things at the shop. I am friendly and always have a smile on my face.
